The Decatur
County Chamber of Commerce is your business, industrial and tourism
information source for Decatur County. Noteworthy are our five marinas and
25 boat docks offering easy access to recreation fun on the Tennessee
River. Outdoor sites include Busseltown Wildlife Refuge and Beech Bend
Park. Decatur County is host for many year-round events such as the
World's Largest Coon Hunt; Scotts Hill Appreciation Day; and the Richard
Crawley Memorial Trail Ride.
Decatur County River Fest is in June - various events are planned for the
weekend to provide something everyone will enjoy. The Community Action
Network is an organization that serves as a partnership of all citizens,
businesses, industries, local government, churches, schools, and civic
groups with a common vision for improving the quality of life for everyone
in Decatur
County. Located on the beautiful Tennessee River, Decatur County provides
recreation for local residents as well as tourists to the county. For more
