Food?  You bet. We really do have great food!

At RiverFest you'll find everything from hot dogs, hamburgers, cokes, chips, candy, to ice cream. Some of our visitors choose to bring a picnic basket, while others enjoy the many verities of on site concessions. Either way, having lunch at the festival is really enjoyable. Prices are lower than you would expect and the view while you eat is great!

One of the things we hear over and over is "emm - emm" boy that smells good! The smell of grilled hamburgers is just one of the small things that adds some flavor to the whole event. Not only dose it smell soo soo good but the taste is great to due to the use of top quality beef.

Our staff and volunteers put in countless hours to make your visit to the event a fun and pleasurable one. Many volunteers from all over our county donate a few hours to work a shift at the festival. With out our volunteers our event just wouldn't be the same. They really help us to make our event a success.

There is a very good reason our state is called the "Volunteer state", - someone came to Decatur County and looked around!  Here's one of our volunteers helping out and just look at the smile on his face. Not only is he helping us and a great cause, but he's really enjoying the time spent doing it to. You will find the people of our area to be some of the most hospitable and friendly folks you'll ever meet.
